Very excited to be leaving for Sorrento, Italy, to make a presentation about video game-based learning in second/foreign language acquisition at the American Association of Italian Studies Conference!
I am currently in my hometown, Asti. I will be flying from Turin to Naples, a short trip of just about an hour.

I am currently working with Brandon on a variety of projects. I look forward to seeing him and Andrea again, and to meet Filippo for the first time. I am always excited to meet other scholars who see the benefits and value of game-based learning!
I am also looking forward to visiting the Sant’Anna Institute, one of our Study Abroad partner programs. Our SLU students loved their experience there, and this was very effective for their Italian language skills.
